Location pack

If your devices have a J2ME MIDP2.0 JSR179 then the Location Kit can track thousands of devices in parallel and map device locations to any geophysical data and send it back to phone in real time. We also provide 'find the nearest' parallel algorithms to serve thousands of roaming mobile devices.

On the device
If the device implements JSR179 then the location package can constantly update its location and send this information to the caboodle server. Without JSR179 the device can still transfer location information provided by the user such as post codes which can be translated into physical device coordinates - for example - instant local maps direct to the phone.

The Gateway :
The location connector provides optimised access to the Caboodle location service.

Location Service
The location service allows thousands of mobile and stationery entities to be represented and to interact and find one another for example in local areas.

3rd Party Mapping
Access can be made to both open and closed internet based map providers to represent and associate physical locations on devices.

Developer tools
Net Caboodle provides IDE plugins for NetBeans and Eclipse
